Our Story

100% Salons was conceived in Shoreditch in the summer of 2012 following an Olympic summer within the creative heart of London in a new showroom, all the choice of founder Alan Cowling, graduated specialist salon designer, project manger & salon furniture expert, continuing on from the base set up with YY Design from its inception back in 1992. A service unrivaled in the UK working alongside creative hairdressers, business owners and entrepreneurs looking for that something extra for their business.

Our work and development took us through many sectors within these services offering to Hospitality , Retail, Motor and Fashion with clients being recommended through word and mouth from all parts of the UK.

The Salon industry became our specialty offering expert knowledge of all of Design, Planning, Refurbishment, Project Management and eventually becoming Furniture experts for Maletti Spa from Italy collaborating with them on concepts with L’Oreal Salon Emotion and Goldwell Colour Masters programme in the UK.

We are now a main Distributor for the Hairdressing & Beauty Spa sector for the UK with daily contact with the export team in the HQ in Scandiano Bologna. Weekly deliveries from Italy are all handled by our team direct to the door with a warranty on all furniture.
